FOP Lodge 38 members conducted their annual "SANTA WITH A BADGE" (2020) campaign event. Collier County Lodge 38 reached out to children and families throughout our local communities who are less fortunate and in need; Lodge 38 provided Christmas gifts for less fortunate children and families within our community. Our "Santa With a Badge" program efforts covered The Guadalupe Center and Sunshine Kids. President Bonollo reached out to the Guadalupe Center, Vice President Cianciulli reached out to The Sunshine Kids organization. Assisting these groups helped less fortunate children within our community.
The pandemic did not stop FOP Lodge 38's efforts to continue with it’s mission to give back to the community and help our most precious assets—THE CHILDREN.
Lodge 38 extends a heartfelt thank you to all the donors whose contributions helped make this a successful campaign and touched the lives of so many children & families in need.
It is accomplishments such as this one, along with many others that make us the great local Lodge we have come to be and continue to strive to be. God Bless us all!
An email letter to President Bonollo from the Director of the Guadalupe Center stated the following:
"Good morning Buddy,
I want to thank you and the Fraternal Order of Police one more time for your unbelievable generosity and kindness. The pandemic has hit our families especially hard this year. Many lost their jobs and the lines at the food distribution are getting longer here in Immokalee. Your donations will help our families enormously.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. May you and yours be blessed in the New Year.
Merry Christmas,
Renate Engels
Director
Early Childhood Education"
